HUSKY DIVER LIFE MEMBERS
These are the Life Members of the Husky Diver Club. People who will always be with us even when they are away and will always be part of the team.
Some worked here, others simply helped out using their skills and abilities to keep us in the water. Life members get special rates on diving, clothes and many other perks here with us. Even though they are not paid, they are always welcome anytime.
It is simply our way of saying thank you publically to these people who have changed our little part of the world for the better.
NOAH
Noah came to us as an Junior Open Water diver in 2018 at around the age of 12. He had an obvious love of diving and showed a skill level that many more experienced divers could only dream of.
He began working for us at around that time as a Junior, working his way up through the retail side of the business, at the same time completing his Advanced, Rescue and a number of specialities until he reached the age when he could start training as a Dive Master.
He has left to pursue his University Studies in Queensland, and we hope that he may return during the holidays to hop in the water with us again and lead some dives.
Chloe
Chloe joined us at the start of COVID in 2020. Her organisational skills, smile and positive attitude won all our hearts in an instant.
She organised so many things here with us. Initially simply looking after the Husky Diver Club, as she progressed as a diver she took on more within the company. Eventually becoming our Head of Training. She pioneered our Girls Dive Days, the Husky Games and many other of the club events.
She is a PADI Instructor, a fully qualified Coxswain and one of the best Dive Masters around.
Chloe's love of children was obvious and she decided to leave us to pursue both travel and a degree in teaching. She is sadly missed and is always welcome back here either as a diver or as a staff member.
SABRINA
Sab is a bundle of Marine Science all wrapped up in joy and smiles.
She bought to the company, a skill set that we were missing. She took our commitment to environmentalism to a more professional level. Starting up and championing some of our citizen science research projects such as the Turtle Tracker, Reef Life Survey and also being heavily involved in having Jervis Bay on the Sea Slug Census.
She left to pursue more travel and is bringing her love of life and science from Kakadu to Antartica - Literally - visiting those places and educating people on those diverse habitats.
